James Bond 25 cast – Star RETURNING for Daniel Craig’s final 007 film | Films | Entertainment |

Daniel Craig confirmed way back in the summer of 2017 that he would be back as James Bond for one more movie, and earlier this year Danny Boyle – the film’s director – departed the project and was replaced by Cary Joji Fukunaga. Now, one of the stars of the last 007 caper, Spectre, has been confirmed to return. But who is it?

It’s Lea Seydoux, who played psychiatrist Dr Madeleine Swann in Spectre.

According to the Daily Mail, both Craig and Fukunaga were keen to have her back; and she’ll join the likes of Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris on the returning cast list.

“Lea will be back,” Fukunaga said.

“You have some of the best actors in the world here. Why wouldn’t I have the best coming back?!”

In Spectre, she was seen working at a private clinic in the Austrian Alps.

She was the love interest for Bond in the movie, and was seen at the very end of the film walking off with him after the final showdown with Blofeld (Christoph Waltz).

Very little is known about the story of the next film, which is written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, with input from Fukunaga.

The film-maker spoke out recently, albeit vaguely, about his plans.

“In terms of what I can bring to change the character, Bond is on a character arc that started with Casino Royale, and I will be carrying that on,” he said.

“There will be changes, I am sure. As in any story, a character has to change in order [to have] a narrative.”

The movie, which was originally slated for release in late 2019, had its launch nudged back when Boyle stepped aside.

James Bond 25 is out on February 14, 2020.
