Space Hulk: Deathwing Has Been Delayed Just 2 Days Before Release
Just two days before its intended release, Space Hulk: Deathwing has been delayed to iron out the issues raised during the last beta test period.
While only a short delay of around 5 days, it’s likely to cause a slight stir for those who may have decided to take their weekend break a little early in preparation. Now launching in the middle of next week, there’s bound to be a little less time for players to mow down their enemies before having to call it a day.
For the most part, however, fans are likely to be apologetic and understanding of the delay. Long load times, crashing and sound issues and general performance issues have all been ironed out thanks to the massive influx of beta players offering up the much-needed data.
There’s nothing new to show for the delay, but there’s still gameplay footage scattered all over.
But with a mention of user interface woes and other assorted bugs appearing through the same batch of reports, Streum On and Focus Home Interactive have both decided to push the game back a few days to avoid the release day experience not quite living up to their standards.
The purging of the Xenos threat will have to wait a little longer. Those creepy monstrosities just bought themselves a little more time. Space Hulk: Deathwing will now be released on 14th December via Steam.
