Oasis Travel Network (OTN) is celebrating a record-breaking 2018, announcing that it exceeded its $125 million goal in annual leisure sales, marking another successful year for the agency. The network was up 31 percent YOY in cruise bookings and 28 percent in land sales for 2018, proving strength in the travel and tourism sector and the agency distribution model.

In 2018, bookings surpassed goals each month, and the award-winning agency entered the new year with a 19 percent increase in sales for the month of January compared to the same time period last year. The company also increased membership by 18 percent in 2018 versus 6 percent in 2017.

Heading into 2019, OTN announced that it would launch several new programs, including a SmartMail Program that will allow independent travel agents to acquire new clients via local direct mail campaigns.

Those interested in launching their career in travel can join OTN’s New2Travel Program, which equips individuals new to the industry with the tools needed to succeed. Participants receive a $500 membership set-up fee, as well as lodging, breakfast, and lunch during in-person boot camp sessions.

Once the program is completed, members transition into the Elite Plan for just $89 per month and receive a host of benefits and ongoing support, including start-up materials, annual sales meetings, the ability to earn commission while training, access to webinars, and topline industry training.
