Fortnite update 7.10 early patch notes – X-4 Stormwing changes, Driftboard, Vehicle health

UPDATE: Fortnite update 7.10 has been officially announced by Epic Games.
The new Fortnite patch will be released at 10am UK time on December 18.
“Almost time to shred!” reads an Epic post. “The v7.10 update slides in on December 18 at 5AM ET(1000 UTC).”
The new update adds the Driftboard snowboard item, as well as vehicle health bars and more.

The next Fortnite update is expected to be available to download on the morning of December 18.
Expect the game to go offline at around 9am UK time, and the patch notes to be revealed at the same time.
The update will then be available to download on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android, before Fortnite comes back online.
Epic Games has revealed some early patch notes for Fortnite ahead of the new update.
The biggest changes will be made to the X-4 Stormwing Plane and ziplines.
That’s according to Epic’s Sean Hamilton, who said that players would receive even more damage when piloting the X-4 Stormwing Plane.

Hamilton initially said that players would lose 35 health when opponents blow up their plane after update 7.10.
However, in a follow-up tweet, Hamilton said that pilots would now lose 50 health when planes are destroyed.
Ziplines will also be tweaked as part of update 7.10.
According to the Fortnite Trello board, Epic is investigating a ton of different zipline issues.
Zipline problems include the following…
• You may lose the ability to sprint if you emote while riding on a Zipline.
• You may notice inconsistencies with player character models while on Ziplines.
• You may sometimes fall from the Zipline under certain network conditions or if
• Structures are built close to a Zipline while a player is on it.
Expect these issues and more to be fixed as part of update 7.10, plus the release of a brand new weapon or item.
Just so long as it’s not the Infinity Blade…
