Be Welcomed Into The Baker Family With The Resident Evil 7: Beginni…
Showing hope that Capcom know what they’re doing this time around, Resident Evil 7‘s ‘Beginning Hour’ demo is now on Steam – and the fans seem to really like it.
With the last two games in the franchise pushing the envelope when it came to dodging the survival horror that made the series so famous in the first place, Resident Evil 7 looks set to be the true return fans have yearned for since since the PS2/Gamecube era.
Built from the ground up on Capcom’s dedicated ‘RE Engine’, Resident Evil 7 was revealed at this year’s E3 through a strange marketing deal which saw its playable demo released that same day as a PlayStation 4 exclusive despite the game launching on both PC and Xbox One on the same day as its PlayStation counterpart next month.
Looking to familiarize yourself with its contents before delving in? There’s plenty of Resident Evil 7 teasers around.
Though the demo has sat locked behind the PlayStation vaults for almost a year, it’s finally time for Steam users to get their hands on a title that looks set to conduct the hype train derailed by the cancellation of P.T (or Silent Hills) – a similar idea headed by Hideo Kojima a few years ago.
It’s available to pick up through Steam for free from today with all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a PC game. Hopefully a sure sign we’ll see a polished final product, the Baker Household is no-doubt a far scarier place to behold in 4k.
