Transcendent Travel Kicks Off the Year with New Itineraries
Fans of British Television can now see the U.K. from a new perspective. Transcendent Travel is a boutique luxury tour operator that provides its clients with an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look behind British television. The company partners with British Acorn TV and offers a number of unique itineraries that shine a spotlight on destinations made famous by British television series.
Transcendent launched its 2019 itineraries earlier this year and has seen growing interest in its tours showcasing British TV programs and culture. Its new Windsor & The Great Park-A Royal Heritage Weekend tour features private access to the behind-the-scenes workings of Windsor Castle and Windsor Great Park and was recently highlighted by Architectural Digest.

The Great British Telly tour hosted by WFYI and Transcendent Travel also features destinations popularized by British shows on public television features Highclere Castle, the Poldark house in The Cotswolds, Bletchley Park as well as the picturesque villages used in the Vicar of Dibley, Midsomer Murders and other classic programs.
The Murder, Intrigue and Luxury: An Agatha Christie Experience is a behind-the-scenes look at the author with special guests and a special train journey reminiscent of the Orient Express.
