The ever generous folks at IO Interactive have continued their charitable ways by announcing the Hitman: Summer Pack. This is a free download available to grab for a limited time only and it includes the entirety of Episode 3, which is set in Marrakech, Morocco.

For the princely sum of nothing, you’ll get the giant stage in Morocco, three story missions, Escalation Contracts, 20 tiers of location master to level up, and more than 120 unique challenges to conquer. The catch is that this is time-limited, so you’ll only have from today until July 31st, and then you lose access to the level. Any progress made will transfer over to the full game if you purchase it.

“Following up on the big fashion show event in Paris and the expansive nature of Sapienza, we knew that Marrakesh had to be something extraordinary,” explains IO Interactive. “So the team set out to build a location that was both teeming with life and things to do. Marrakesh has been built with a maze of alleys, a range of souks that line the medina walls and a fully fletched shisha café. Moving upwards, players can enjoy the shade on the signature rooftop terraces of Marrakesh.

“Just beyond the busy marketplace, you will find an architectural marvel in the shape of the Swedish Consulate building. The very embodiment of the minimalistic Scandinavian design, a mix of glass, concrete, and wood offering a powerful contrast to the blazing heat just outside its walls.”

Having already given away chapters one and two, we’re beginning to get the impression that IO Interactive may even be intending to drip-feed every level as a free download in order to build hype for Hitman 2. It’s total guesswork for now, but they’ve given away half of the game for free already. The only downside is the time limited nature but I’m sure fans can get plenty of murdering done in two weeks.
