The rumours were indeed true. Elden Ring is the new game from Sekiro and Dark Souls developer From Software, featuring a world created by the twin talents of Hidetaka Miyazaki and Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin.
Bandai Namco will be handling publishing duties for Elden Ring, a fantasy action-RPG adventure that will no doubt have the Souls DNA running through its veins. If you cut Elden Ring, it probably bleeds Estus Flasks.
Details on Elden Ring are a little sketchy. While it’s not called Great Rune as previously rumoured, it does look likely that Elden Ring will still be some sort of Norse adventure.
“Danger and discovery lurk around every corner in FromSoftware’s largest game to-date,” reads the all-too-brief blurb on the game.
Naturally, we expect to hear a lot more about Elden Ring during E3 proper. Our best guess is Microsoft’s E3 Xbox showcase tomorrow evening, so stay tuned.
