Another trio of games have joined the ranks of Epic Games Store exclusivity – WRC 8 (World Rally Championship), Paranoia: Happiness is Mandatory, and Bee Simulator. All three of these games are published by Bigben Interactive, a French publisher which has previous with the store, bringing The Sinking City to the Epic Store with one-year timed exclusivity.
“We are very pleased to be reinforcing our Epic Games store offer with a variety of unique games from our catalogue,” said Benoit Clerc. “Our latest offer is comprised of three games that are very different from each other: Bee Simulator, a superb family game; Paranoia: Happiness is Mandatory, a tactical CRPG brimming with dark humour; and WRC 8, the official simulation of the FIA World Rally Championship, which will also be the first rally game available on the Epic Games Store.”
As a man who literally could not care less which store my games are on, this won’t make much difference to me and others like me. But, for those of you staunchly opposed to the Epic Games Store though, it probably means around a year-long wait until you can get your hands on them.
Bee Simulator is definitely one I’ve been keeping an eye on over the past year. It looks like a neat idea that’s also being well executed so it end up quite the coup for Epic. None of these games are set to become giants, of course, but it’s all serving the aim of offering a deeper catalogue through the Epic Games Store.
So, after these announcements, this is now how we expect these games release schedules to line up:
WRC 8 – September 5th 2019 on Epic Games Store, September 5th 2020 on Steam
Paranoia: Happiness is Mandatory – October 3rd 2019 on Epic Games Store, October 3rd 2020 on Steam
Bee Simulator – November 14th 2019 on Epic Games Store, November 14th 2020 on Steam
